FRONT PANEL DESCRIPTION
4) MUT - Mute button.
Short press the MUT button to turn off the volume. Pressing again restores the volume.
Press and hold MUT button to enter the settings panel of the sound mixer (more details in
Audio signals routing ).
5) MON - Button to enable monitoring your signal while transmitting.
Press the MON button to monitor the transmission. Pressing the button again turns off the
monitor.
6) AGC - Switching AGC modes.
Press the AGC button to select the required AGC mode.
Successive presses cycles through the AGC modes. (more details in AGC presets choosing
).
7) ATT - Receiver's preamplifier control button.
Short press the ATT button to select the desired level of the receiver's preamplifier.
Successive presses cycle through the preamplifier levels.
Press and hold the ATT button to enter the front-end settings panel (more details in ATT/
PREAMP control ).
8) PA - Control button for external power amplifiers in TX mode.
Short press the PA button to enable the external PA in TX mode.
Press and hold the PA button to enter the external PA settings panel (more details in
External PA control ).
9) ANT - Antenna switch button.
Short press the ANT button for synchronous (receiving and transmitting) antenna switching.
Successive presses cycle through the antennas.
Press and hold the ANT button to enter the antenna switch settings panel (more details in
Antenna switching ).
10) USB - Connectors for USB devices.
Connect the standard USB devices (mouse, keyboard, disk module and others) to these
connectors.
The load current can be up to 500 mA.
11) PHONES - Jack for headphones.
Connect headphones with impedance of 8 ... 64 Ohm to the PHONES jack.
For example, a standard computer headset with a stereo jack connector.
12) MIC 1 - Jack for electret microphones. Line-in.
Connect electret microphone to MIC 1, for example, the microphone of a standard computer
headset.
The Jack can also be used as a standard line-in (more details in Microphone (Dynamic/
Electret) ).
