the concat operation as introduced in release 1.6. In order to determine which of the
concat operations will be executed for a given recording event in release 1.5, conditional
branching can be achieved using the x Files workflow parameter (see below) sent by
the SMP. More details on concat workflow can be found in the Opencast wiki page
(https://opencast.jira.com/wiki/display/MHTRUNK/Concat+workflow+operatio
n+handler).
When multi-file ingestion is selected, the SMP 351 sends a workflow parameter based
on the number of recording files that are being uploaded, such as x Files:true where
x = total number of m4v files in the recording. For example, the SMP 351 sends out
“3Files:true” when three m4v files are saved in a single recording. If only a single m4v
file is generated, the SMP 351 sends out "1Files:true". The flavor of each additional
recording video file after the first m4v file is suffixed with -1, -2, -3, and so forth, for as
many recording files as were created. For example, if the administrator configures the
SMP 351 to use the flavor “presenter/source” and the recording event spanned across
three m4v files, the SMP 351 sends the following:
…S1R1.m4v as presenter/source
…S1R2.m4v as presenter/source-1
…S1R3.m4v as presenter/source-2
This ensures each recording file can be processed independently and in the correct
order.
12. The default Uniform Resource Locator (URL) values in the rest of the fields on this
page can be left unchanged unless your Opencast server installation uses customized
settings. Contact your system administrator for details on whether customization is
necessary. If changes are needed, enter the customized URL into the appropriate URL
field.
13. If desired, change the update or query intervals (in seconds) for the following items:
Status URL: Status Updated Every: — Determines how often the SMP351
sends its current operations status (capturing, uploading, idle, offline, and so on) to
the Opencast server server.
Recording URL: Status Updated Every: — Determines how often the SMP351
sends the status of individual recordings to the Opencast server server.
Capture Agent Config URL: Config Posted Every: — Sets how often the
SMP351 sends its configuration settings (current encoding/layout presets, firmware
version) to the Opencast server server.
Opencast server Schedule URL: Checked Every: — Sets how often the
SMP351 checks for schedule updates on the server.
To change the intervals, enter a value within the corresponding field or click the Up and
Down arrows alongside the field to change the value.
14. Click Save to save and apply the settings. Alternatively, click Reset to set all fields to
the default values or Cancel to discard all changes.
15. Verify that the SMP351 has been correctly configured for use with Opencast server:
