Upgrading MediaPort and ChannelPort licenses
Every MediaPort and ChannelPort includes a license file. Upgrading the license file also changes the
model number and enables functionality. For example, CPT-8100-DMH may be upgraded to CPT-8100-
DMHVC3P.
Before you begin
If you have purchased a new license file from Harmonic, you may upgrade your MediaPort or
ChannelPort license. Refer to the Harmonic SystemManager User Guide for instructions on how to
perform the upgrade.
