Critical Faults
Critical fault designs:
Not resolved through the software or communications commands.
Cancel an exposure that is in progress.
Prevent the start of a new exposure.
Alert Messages
The Alert Messages are routine messages that can prevent an exposure. An Alert
message remains active until the required action is complete or the condition no longer
exists.
B.2.2 System Messages
Select the system status icon on the Taskbar to get information about the cause and
correction of a system problem. When you correct the problem, the System Message area
displays a Ready status.
B.3 System Restart
To restart the computer system after a critical fault, select the Reboot button.
If you select the Exit button, a message advises that this option shuts down only the
computer.

Power cord is not plugged in at the
console and/or at the power outlet.
Check power cord for proper engagement to
console and power outlet.
"Vacuum system

Protective sheath is not fully on the
tip of the biopsy needle cannula.
Reinstall the protective sheath.
Suction canister lid is not sealed onto
the canister.
Properly seal the lid of the suction canister.
Suction canister is cracked.
Replace the suction canister with a new one.
The large port on the suction canister
lid is not capped with the large plug.
Cap the large port with the large plug.
