7: Biopsy
7.1 Set Up the System
1. Move the console into position and lock the casters.
2. Make sure the footswitch is connected.
3. Connect the console to power.
4. Connect the network cable to the Ethernet port (optional).
5. Power on the console.
Warning:
Do not place fingers on the metal parts of the device driver. These parts can
move when the system powers on.
7.2 Connect the Device Driver and the Biopsy Supplies
Suction Canister
1. Attach the canister lid to the canister base.
2. Secure the large opening cap onto the large opening.
3. Place the suction canister in the canister holder on the console with the patient port
pointing to the right.
4. Plug the vacuum line assembly into the top port labeled "VACUUM" on the suction
canister lid.
5. Make sure that all connections are secure and sealed to avoid vacuum leaks.
