Unpacking
Remove the computer from its carton and check the computer accessories against the packing
list of the carton. Accessory items (add-on RAM cards, interface cards, etc.) are shipp ed
separately. Do not remove these accessories from their antistatic envelopes until you are ready
to install them into the computer.
Line Voltage Switch and Line Fuse
The computer is shipp ed from the factory with its line voltage selector switch set to the line
voltage in your area, and the correct line fuse installed. Before you plug the computer in,
however, check the switch setting and line fuse (both are lo cated at the rear of the computer)
to ensure that they are correct. For more complete line voltage selector switch and line fuse
information, refer to the
Instal lation Reference
manual of the computer.
