Testing Each System Instrument
This test checks the following items:
Self-test result of HP 4084B Switching Matrix Controller(s)
Self-test result of HP 4142B Mo dular DC Source/Monitor
Self-test result of HP 4280A 1 MHz C Meter/C-V Plotter, if it exists.
Self-test result of HP 4284A Precision LCR Meter, if exists.
Self-test results of HP 8110A 150 MHz Pulse Generator(s) (HP 4062F only).
Use the following pro cedure to check the test items ab ove:
1. Set the LINE ON/OFF or POWER ON/OFF switch of each instrument, lo cated on the
front panel of each instrument, to ON, and insp ect each instrument for any errors or
failures.
Note
After the insp ection, leave the LINE ON/OFF or POWER ON/OFF switchof
each instrumentto ON towarm up the system instruments.
Cleaning
To prevent electrical sho ck, never use a wet cloth when cleaning the HP 4062UX/F. Always
use a slightly damp or dry cloth to clean HP 4062UX/F.
