Software Installation
Introduction
This chapter provides HP 4062UX/F system software installation procedures, and includes
software customization and other relevant software installation information. Sp ecically, this
chapter covers the information for rst time installation and for upgrade installation. Refer to
Appendix A when updating system software, which is the user's responsibilit y.
Following system software installation and customization, information to customize the wafer
prober is provided.
If your system has the HP Interactive Measurement and Analysis (IMA) software, use this
chapter to install your HP IMA software.
Caution
If you are installing the new software on a hard disk that has b een used,
Hewlett-Packard recommends that you backup the user's programs and data.
