The HPE Synergy 12000 Frame ships with three device bay shelves installed to support a 12 half-height compute module configuration.
To install a full-height compute module, remove the device bay shelves and corresponding blanks.
ProcedureProcedure
1. Remove the blanks.
2. Remove the device bay shelf.
NOTE: NOTE: Keep the compute module end caps, blanks, and device bay shelves for future use.
3. Remove the compute module end cap.
4. Prepare the compute module for installation by opening the compute module handle.
