10 Torch Component Replacement
Replacing the torch lead
The torch lead comes with the strain relief and strain relief nut. (See Figure 142 on page 284 for the fully disassembled
torch.)
Complete the following procedures:
1. See Disconnect the power, gas supply, and torch on page 266.
2. See Remove the mounting sleeve on page 285.
3. See Remove the torch body on page 288.
4. See Replacing the coupler and positioning sleeve (full-length only) or adapter (mini only) on page 289.
Install the coupler and positioning sleeve or adapter onto the new lead.
5. See Install the torch body on page 289.
6. See Install the mounting sleeve on page 286.
7. Reconnect the torch and gas supply, and turn ON (I) the power.
