Description
An invalid command was sent
to
an
I/O
device. For example:
• A REWIND (BASIC) or )REWIND (APL) command is issued
to
an
I/O
device.
• An invalid device characteristic was specified
to
the command device.
• The input buffer size was increased after the input device was opened.
• An invalid parameter was specified when opening the command device
or
an
I/O
device.
In modem mode, a data terminal ready from the
I/O
device is
off
during a
5100 transmit operation. In terminal mode, data set ready from the
I/O
device is
off
during a 5100 transmit operation. These conditions
can
be
caused by:
• The
I/O
device does not conform
to
the EIA RS232C standard
interface.
• A defective cable.
• The
I/O
device power is not on.
• The
I/O
device is attached with the wrong cable.
