13.4.3 Using CMM Chassis Manager to manage a storage node
The CMM Chassis Map view provides hardware and table views of all discovered resources
in a managed chassis. Use the Chassis Manager view in the management software web
interface to view Flex System V7000 details and perform management tasks. You can launch
Storage Node from CMM to perform tasks on the IBM Flex System V7000 Storage Node, as
shown in Figure 13-12.

You can also click the Chassis Management tab and view properties and settings of the
following components installed in the chassis, such as Compute Node, Storage Node, I/O
Modules, Fans and Cooling, Power Modules and Management, Component IP configuration,
Chassis internal network, Hardware Topology, and also generate reports of hardware
information. Click Storage Node to view the storage control enclosure and storage expansion
enclosure. You may select and view details of one node at a time as shown in Figure 13-13.
