Chapter 9. IBM Flex System V7000 Storage
Node Copy Services
In this chapter, we describe the copy services features provided by IBM Flex System V7000
Storage Node. All the copy services features of IBM Flex System V7000 Storage Node are
provided by the shared code of the IBM SAN Virtual Controller (SVC) and the IBM Storwize
V7000, and all function in the same manner. This commonality allows for the pairing of the
functions between these systems for uses such as making data copies, central backups,
development, application test, and disaster recovery.
IBM Flex System V7000 Storage Node makes it easy to apply these functions to your
environment through its intuitive GUI.
