The newly created volume is displayed, and we see that it now has host mappings as shown
in Figure 6-35.

The host is now able to access the volumes and store data on them. Go to Chapter 12, “Host
configuration” on page 511 to discover the volumes on the host and make some additional
host settings if required.
6.3.2 Additional features
You can also create multiple volumes in preparation for discovering them later. Mappings can
be customized as well. For information about how to prepare hosts for connecting to IBM Flex
System V7000 Storage Node, see Chapter 12, “Host configuration” on page 511.
