To access the internet with:
Wireless devices: Connect the wireless devices, such as a smart phone, to the WiFi
network of the wireless router which is connected to the CPE.
Wired devices: Connect the wired devices, such as a computer, to the LAN ports of
the wireless router which is connected to the CPE. Ensure that the IP address of the
computer is automatically obtained.
4.4.3 Example of WISP mode
Network requirement
You live in countryside, and it is not convenient for you to connect the nearest ISP base
station using Ethernet cables. So you want to extend the ISP hotspot to your home in a
wireless manner.
Solution
Set the CPE to WISP mode, and connect it to the ISP hotspot.
Assume that the SSID and WiFi password of the ISP hotspot are:
SSID: WiFi_123456
WiFi Password: 12345678
Internet Connection Type: PPPoE
User name: admin
Password: admin
