Check the engine oil level, tire pressure,
coolant level and windshield washer uid
level before driving. Pay attention to
the following items during the running-
in period of new vehicle or engine
replacement:
Take extra care in the rst 500 km when
driving with a set of new tires. New tires
do not oer optimal grip until they have
been run-in.
The braking lining of new vehicle hardly
achieves optimal braking eect within rst
200 km vehicle running. The new braking
lining must be run-in rst to achieve the
best friction performance, and the braking
eect can be improved by depressing the
brake pedal harder.
The service life, working reliability and
fuel economy of the engine are closely
related to the initial running-in condition.
Therefore, a new engine before normal use
must go through the running-in process
from under no load to under gradually
increased load for well running-in of
friction pairs of the engine.
Notice Notice
● The braking lining and braking
disc may wear to dierent degrees
depending on the using condition
and the driving method.
● Due to the vehicle speed, braking
force and environmental conditions,
it is normal that noise may occur
during braking.
● The initial running-in mileage of the
engine is 3,000 km.
Do not idle the engine at a high
speed when driving the vehicle.
Engine speed should not exceed
4000 r/min. Do not allow the engine
to idle for more than 3 min at a time.
● Keep the driving speed within 80
km/h.
During the running-in period, start
the vehicle slowly. Unless it is an
emergency, try to avoid emergency
braking and let the brake work
normally.
Avoid being towed or towing other
vehicles within the rst 1,000 km of
driving.
Do not keep the same speed for
too long, no matter how fast it is.
Vehicles in the running-in period
should run at various speeds for full
