Notice
● The EPS system works only when
the vehicle power system is running.
● When parking or driving at a very
low speed, turning the steering
wheel repeatedly or continuously
will weaken the steering power. This
is to prevent overheating and loss of
the EPS system, which will return to
normal after it has cooled down.
● When the steering power is reduced
or fails, more force must be used for
steering, especially when making
sharp turns and driving at low speed.
● When operating the steering wheel
quickly, you may hear friction sound,
which is not a fault. Please drive
safely.
EPS system
Power steering system
The EPS system can automatically adjust
the steering power according to the vehicle
speed, steering wheel angle and torque
acting on the steering wheel when the
vehicle is running, so that the driver can
better operate the steering wheel and obtain
the best driving experience.
Warning
● The steering wheel shall not be kept
at the steering limit position for
more than 10 s. If it is kept at this
position continuously, the motor
and controller of the EPS system
will heat up rapidly, and the steering
power will weaken or even the EPS
system may be damaged.
Emergency steering
If there is not enough braking space in
case of emergency, steering can be more
eective than braking in avoiding people
or obstacles.
For example, when you are driving
downhill and nding that a truck parked
in the lane, or a vehicle from nowhere
was entering the lane, or a child suddenly
jumped out of the parked vehicle and
stopped right in front of you, you can apply
braking to avoid these obstacles, provided
that you can stop the vehicle in time.
Sometimes you cannot do this because
there is not enough space. So avoidance
measures should be taken to bypass
obstacles.
In such an emergency, the outstanding
performance of your vehicle will be
showed. First depress the brake pedal. It
is best to slow down as much as possible
when a collision may occur. Then
according to the available space, turn left
or right to bypass obstacles.
