Introduction to gears
Gears of the vehicle are introduced as follows:
Warning
● Objects in the driver's footwell may
prevent the driver from operating
the pedal, which may easily cause
the vehicle to get out of control,
resulting in serious casualties.
● Ensure that nothing moves into the
driver's footwell during driving.
● All pedals should not be blocked by
any objects or foot pads, and must
be easy to control and move freely.
If it is necessary to lay the foot pad,
x it in the footwell with suitable
fasteners to ensure that it will not
hinder you from operating the pedal
normally.
Gear Symbol Application
Parking gear P
Remind the driver that there is a fault in self-check of ESCL,
which will aect operation of ESCL
Reverse gear R
The vehicle speed signal received by ESCL is abnormal, which
will aect operation of ESCL
Neutral gear N
Remind the driver that there is a fault in ESCL or problem with
ESCL harness connection
Automatic
mode (driving
gear)
D
When D gear is engaged, the vehicle will move forward
automatically. The accelerator pedal and brake pedal can be
depressed automatically to adjust the speed according to the
driver's operation.
Manual mode M
When M gear is engaged, the gear can be shifted manually to
operate vehicle more exibly.
