Engine overheating
If the water temperature gauge indicates
engine overheating, engine output power
drops, or any knocking sound is heard,
engine overheating may occur. The
following operations shall be conducted in
this case:
1. Drive the vehicle to the safe roadside
place and park immediately for safety
sake.
2. Place the gearshift lever at "N" position
and pull up the parking brake lever. If
the A/C system still works, please turn
o.
3. If the engine coolant ows out, or the
steam is found to be exhausted from the
hood of the power cabin, stop the engine.
Open the hood of power cabin when the
coolant stops owing out, or no steam is
exhausted. If no coolant ow or steam
emission is observed, keep the engine
running. Check and conrm whether
the engine cooling fan is working. Turn
o the engine if the cooling fan is not
working.
Emergency in driving
Engine stalling
1. Gradually slow down, keep driving in
a straight line, and carefully drive the
vehicle o the road and park in a safe
area.
2. Turn on the hazard warning lamp.
3. Try restarting the engine. If the engine
cannot be started, please contact the
after-sales service to check the vehicle
as possible.
Engine start failure
Engine cannot rotate or rotate at a
slow speed.
1. Check the connection state of batteries,
ensuring that they are clean and mounted
rmly.
2. Connect with the indoor lighting. If
the light is dim or remains OFF when
operating the starter, it indicates that the
battery is low.
3. Instructions in the Jump Start can be
referred to provided that the vehicle
cannot be started through towing or
pushing.
The engine is in normal state, but
cannot be started.
1. Check the fuel level.
2. When the startup key is at "LOCK"
position, check all the connectors of
the ignition coil and the spark plug, and
reconnect the disconnected or loose
parts.
3. Check the fuel line in the engine
compartment.
4. If the engine still cannot be started,
please contact the after-sales service.
