Replacement of brake uid
Brake uid absorbs moisture. Therefore,
as time goes by, it absorbs moisture from
the surrounding air. Excessive water
content in brake uid will cause long-term
corrosion damage to the braking system.
In addition, the boiling point of brake uid
will decrease signicantly, so brake uid
must be replaced regularly.
When it is necessary to ll brake uid,
only DOT4 brake uid can be used, and
only new brake uid in an unopened
container can be used. Before removing
the brake uid reservoir cap, clean the cap
and the surrounding parts to prevent dirt
from entering the reservoir.
For technical reasons, the replacement
of brake uid requires special tools
and necessary expertise, so it is highly
recommended that brake uid should be
replaced at the after-sales service shop.
Warning
● It is prohibited to mix brake uid of
dierent manufacturers and dierent
models. The damage to the braking
system caused by mixed brake uid
is not covered by the warranty.
● Because the braking system is very
important to the safe driving of the
vehicle, it is recommended that the
braking system should be checked
by the after-sales service shop.
● Brake uid should be replaced
regularly. If brake uid is used for
too long, the braking system will
form bubbles under high brake
loads, which will aect the braking
performance and driving safety.
● If the model of brake uid added
to the braking system is incorrect,
the brake will not work properly, or
even not work at all. This will cause
accidents. Therefore, be sure to use
the correct model of brake uid.
● Be careful when adding brake uid.
If brake uid spills into your eyes, it
Warning
can cause decreased vision. If brake
uid spills on the car, be sure to
wipe it o immediately, otherwise it
will damage the paintwork.
● Do not ll too much brake uid,
otherwise it may spill onto the
engine. If the temperature is high
enough, brake uid can burn,
causing injury to you or others or
damaging the vehicle.
● Brake uid is toxic and must be
properly stored in a sealed original
container, especially keeping it out
of the reach of children.
