Anti-rusting treatment
Common factors of automobile
rust
Environmental factors aecting
rust
Dampness
Relative humidity
Temperature
Air contamination
Wet dirt and debris pile up in the vehicle
body, holes, or other parts.
Paint and other protective layers are
damaged due to gravel, grit, or minor trac
accidents.
The accumulation of sand, dirt, and
water on the vehicle oor can accelerate
corrosion. Wet carpets/oor mats cannot
dry completely inside the vehicle. It shall
be taken out and completely dried outside
to avoid oor corrosion.
Corrosion will accelerate in areas with high
relative humidity.
High temperatures can accelerate the
corrosion process of poorly ventilated
components.
Areas with temperatures above freezing
point will also accelerate corrosion.
Industrial pollution, the presence of salt
in the air in coastal areas, or extensive use
of road deicing salts can accelerate the
corrosion process. Road deicing salts also
accelerate the weathering and fading of
painted surfaces.
Automobile rust and corrosion
resistance
Wash and wax the vehicle regularly to
keep it clean.
Check and make sure whether the paint
surface has any minor damage, and if any,
please repair it as soon as possible.
Keep the drain hole at the door bottom
unblocked to prevent water accumulation.
Inspect the vehicle bottom for presence of
sand, dirt, or salt buildup. If any, please
rinse with water as soon as possible.
Warning
● Do not ush dirt, sand, or other
debris from the passenger cabin with
water pipe. Please use a vacuum
cleaner to remove dirt.
● Keep electrical components in the
vehicle away from water and other
liquids which may damage the
electrical elements.
● In winter, it is important to regularly
clean the underbody. Chemicals used
for road deicing are highly corrosive
and can accelerate the corrosion and
damage of underbody components
such as brake pipes, brake cables,
chassis, and fenders.
Keep the garage dry and do not park
the vehicle in a garage with high
humidity and poor ventilation for a
long time.
