1. Keep cleanness and dryness of the top
of the battery.
2. Keep terminals and joints clean, tight
and coated with vaseline or terminal
grease.
3. The high current discharge time of
the battery should not be too long,
otherwise the plate will be deformed
due to overheating, resulting in short
circuits or active material falling o,
and the capacity will be reduced. When
starting the vehicle, it should not exceed
15 seconds at a time, and the interval of
continuous starting should not be less
than 10 to 15 seconds.
1. Turn o the ignition switch and remove
the key.
2. Use a wrench to loosen and remove the
battery cable clamp from the terminal.
Be sure to disconnect the battery's
negative (-) terminal rst.
3. Clean the terminal with terminal
cleaning tools.
4. Check whether there is white or light
blue powder on the battery terminal. If
any, the terminal is corroded.
5. Remove corrosion with sodium
bicarbonate aqueous solution. The
sodium bicarbonate aqueous solution
will bubble and turn brown.
6. When it stops bubbling, rinse the
solution with clear water, and dry the
battery with a cloth or paper towel.
Storage and maintenance of
battery
Battery terminal cleaning

battery should be the same as the original
battery.
Battery charging
Due to the fact that battery charging
requires relevant professional knowledge
and must be carried out in a controlled
environment, it is recommended that the
battery should be charged by an after-sales
service shop.
Replacement of battery
The installation position of the battery in
this vehicle has been strictly designed and
arranged, and has special safety. The JAC
original battery complies with relevant
regulations on vehicle maintenance and
safety. If you need to replace the battery,
we recommend contacting an after-sales
service shop for replacement.
Environmental Protection
● The battery contains toxic substances.
Old batteries are not conducive to
health and the environment. It is
prohibited to dispose of old batteries
as domestic waste, and be sure to
utilize local legal automotive waste
disposal facilities.
4. If the vehicle is stored for a long
time, the negative terminal should be
disconnected from the vehicle. In order
to avoid excessive self-discharge and
severe sulfation, the battery needs to be
charged once every three months if the
battery is fully charged before storage.
