Starting and driving
Notice
● The vehicle can shift to M gear only
from D gear.
● The M gear is recommended for
accelerating and overtaking or
driving uphill and downhill.
● When the vehicle is running on a
bumpy road, ramp or other roads,
it is recommended to use the lower
gear of M gear.
● When M gear is engaged, if the
engine speed is too high or too low,
the transmission will automatically
shift to a proper gear to protect the
engine.
● The parking brake cannot be released
when the vehicle is in M gear.
Emergency unlocking of P gear
Method I
If the gear shift cannot be switched from P
gear to other gears during normal operation,
the following 2 methods can be used for
emergency unlocking of P gear.
1. Stop the engine and apply the parking
brake.
2. Remove the cup holder gasket.
3. Pry up the circular cover plate with a
at-head screwdriver to see the cable
for unlocking P gear. Turn the P gear
unlocking cable handle counterclockwise
to make it enter the sliding chute.
4. After lifting the rope and lifting the
handle to the top, turn the P gear
unlocking cable handle clockwise. At
this time, there will be a slight "snap",
indicating that the handle is xed in
place and the P gear is unlocked. At this
time, if the vehicle is powered on or
started, an alarm sound will be given.
The instrument displays "Transmission
P Gear Fault" and the transmission is in
N gear.
5. The P gear unlocking cable handle can
be reset in the reverse operation steps.
