Starting and driving
How to use this function:
1. Depress the brake pedal rmly, and
never loosen the brake pedal or reduce
the pedal tread force.
2. Never step on the brake pedal back and
forth or reduce the pedal tread force.
3. Turn the vehicle as needed.
4. When the brake pedal is released or the
pedal tread force is reduced, ABS will
automatically close.
Anti-lock braking system (ABS)
As one advanced electronic braking
system, the anti-lock braking system
(ABS) is helpful in avoiding the vehicle
from slipping and losing control. This
system can make you maintain a certain
steering ability during sudden braking
and provide maximum parking ability on
slippery surfaces. However, it can't prevent
accidents caused by careless or dangerous
driving. Moreover, it cannot be considered
that ABS can shorten the braking distance
under any circumstances, and the braking
red indicator light on the instrument
panel lights up.
Notice
● When your Vehicle is equipped
with the steep descent function,
the original ESC OFF switch is
transferred to the center control
screen, and select on/OFF from
[Vehicle Setting]-[Driving]-[ESC
OFF] on the center control screen.
● If the vehicle speed is less than 8km/
h or greater than 35km/h, HDC will
automatically shut down.
After activating HDC, the vehicle
speed can still be adjusted by
pressing the brake pedal or
accelerator pedal. At this time, the
HDC function will briey exit and
automatically activate when the
pedal is released.
Warning
● HDC only serves as an auxiliary
function. At all times, drivers should
be responsible for the safety of their
vehicles and always pay attention to
the surrounding trac conditions.
● When the slope is too steep, HDC
may not be able to keep the vehicle
driving at a constant speed down the
steep slope. At this time, you can
control the speed by pressing the
brake pedal.
distance may be longer when braking on
sand and gravel roads, snow and ice roads
or wet and slippery roads than when using
conventional braking systems.
If the wheel tends to lock, ABS will
repeatedly adjust the brake oil pressure.
At this time, the brake pedal recoil force
will be felt with slight noise. It is normal,
indicating that ABS is working.
