Warning
Warning
Strong braking when you drive
downhill may cause overheating
and failure of the brake, making the
vehicle lose control and leading to
accidents. When driving downhill,
slightly step on the brake pedal and
control the vehicle's speed with low-
speed gear.
It is dangerous to coast in neutral
or stop running the engine when
you drive downhill because in this
case you can only decelerate with
the brake, which may lead to brake
overheating and impair or lose the
braking function. Therefore, you
must keep the engine running and
never let the vehicle coast in neutral
when driving downhill.
● If you can't go uphill, do not try
turning, instead, return through the
reversing gear, or the vehicle may
turn over.
If you drive the vehicle inclined on a
slope and it is likely to turn over, you
must immediately turn the vehicle
towards a gentle slope.
Notice
● When the gradient is over 15°, we
suggest you climb at a low gear (1 or
2) to prevent insucient power.
● Do not stop the vehicle on a steep
slope.
Parking on slopes
Steps of parking:
1. Apply the parking braking.
2. Place the gear shift in neutral.
3. You'd better change the wheels' direction
to prevent the vehicle from entering
the trac when you park on a slope, as
shown in the gure.
(1)When you drive downhill to park the
vehicle and there are curb stones, turn
the wheels towards the curb stones,
slowly move the vehicle forward until
the wheels on the side of the curb stones
slightly touch the curb stones, and apply
parking braking.
