Wiper blade cleaning
Replacement of wiper blade
Front wiper maintenance position
Check the working and wear of the wiper
blade frequently. If the wiper blade does
not work smoothly or has abnormal noise,
there may be wax or other substances on
the windshield or wiper blade. At this time,
clean the wiper blade and windshield.
Clean the external surface of the
windshield with washer uid or neutral
cleaner. If water droplets are no longer
formed when cleaning with water, it means
that the windshield has been cleaned up.
Clean the wiper blade by wiping with a
cloth containing washer uid or neutral
cleaner. Rinse the wiper blade with water.
If the wiper blade still does not work
smoothly or has abnormal noise after
cleaning, replace it.
The front wiper can only be fully lifted in
the maintenance position. Move the wiper
to the maintenance position as follows:
1. The engine compartment hood must be
closed.
2. Switch the ignition switch to the "ON"
position, and then to the "OFF" position.
3. Within 30 seconds, push the wiper
control lever up to the "MIST" position
and hold it for more than 2 seconds, and
move the front wiper to the maintenance
position.
4. When the ignition switch is in the "ON"
position, push the wiper control lever
up to the "MIST" position and move
the front wiper from the maintenance
position to the initial position.
Warning
● The wiper arm can only be lifted
when the wiper is in the maintenance
position, otherwise the wiper arm
and engine compartment hood may
be damaged due to interference.
● Be sure to move the wiper to its
original position before opening the
engine compartment hood or driving.
