How to use LKA
Instrument display
Users can activate or deactivate the lane
keeping assist system through [Settings]
->[Assistance] in MP5.
When the vehicle approaches the lane
line, LKA will actively control the vehicle
to return to the lane by applying a small
torque to the steering wheel. If the vehicle
is about to cross the lane line, the system
will alert the driver through the instrument
icon.
When the turn signal is turned on, the
system does not correct or alert.
When the LKA system is
activated, the light on the
instrument is green.
When the light on the instrument is yellow,
it indicates a system fault. Go to the after-
sales service store for repair in time.
Emergency Lane Keeping
When the system detects that the driver
unintentionally deviates from the lane,
Instrument cluster prompt interface:
when the vehicle is about to deviate
from the lane, it will correct the steering
wheel to make the vehicle return to
the lane again, so as to avoid collision
with a backward overtaking vehicle or
an oncoming vehicle. The system also
detects solid lines and road edges to avoid
vehicles deviating from the lane.
Forward Collision Warning
(FCW)
If your vehicle is equipped with forward
collision warning function, an alarm will
be given to remind the driver when the
vehicle is about to collide with a vehicle
or pedestrian ahead. Generally, when the
vehicle speed is less than 30 km/h, the
forward collision warning will not give
an alarm. Tap [Settings] ->[Assistance] in
MP5 to activate or deactivate the "forward
collision warning".
You can choose "High, Medium or
Low" for the forward collision warning
sensitivity.
