The system determines the steering
intent based on whether the turn signal is
turned on, and reminds the driver at the
corresponding display mode.
Standard display: When the turn signals
are not turned on, and the system detects
that the speed dierence and distance
between the vehicle behind and the vehicle
pose a danger to lane changing, the
indicators on the exterior rearview mirror
lenses will light up.
Enhanced display: When the turn signals
are turned on, and the system detects that
the speed dierence and distance between
the vehicle behind and the vehicle pose a
danger to lane changing, the indicators on
the exterior rearview mirror lenses will
ash.
When the vehicle is in reverse gear (R) and
reversing from a vertical parking space,
due to the obstruction of vehicles on both
sides, the system will not detect vehicles,
motorcycles, or electric bicycles running
laterally behind. The function will remind
the driver of the collision risk in the rear
through the indicators on the exterior
rearview mirror lenses and the instrument
buzzer.
When the vehicle is shifted into N gear
or parked in P gear, due to the limited
visibility of occupants inside the vehicle, it
is dicult to observe approaching vehicles
or non-motor vehicles behind the vehicle.
At this time, there is a risk of collision
when the door is opened. The function
predicts the potential collision risk and
reminds the occupants on corresponding
side that opening the door will cause a
collision by keeping the indicators on the
exterior rearview mirror lenses constantly
on. When the door is opened, the danger
is notied again through the instrument
buzzer.
