4.2.9.2 Power Supply
The power supply system supplies power to the following systems:
• 27 VDC, 20 A to the control systems
• 230 VAC, 10 A to the vacuum pump system
• 230 VAC, 10 A to the milking pump system
• 3x230 VAC, 16 A to the Pura steam device (optional)
• 3x230 VAC, 16 A to the heater/steam unit.
A battery back-up provides emergency power to keep the control system
running for approximately 30 s (depending on the load).
Users and equipment are secured by the following safety features:
• Earth leakage protector (Safe life), to protect people and animals
when they accidently touch energized parts
• Circuit breakers to protect the 230 VAC systems from overload
• Fuses to protect the low voltage systems from overload.
