Enhanced 9-1-1 (E 9-1-1) Information
ThisphonefeaturesanembeddedGlobalPositioningSystem(GPS)chipnecessaryforutilizingE9-
1-1emergencylocationserviceswhereavailable.Whenyouplaceanemergency9-1-1call,the
GPSfeatureofyourphoneseeksinformationtocalculateyourapproximatelocation.Dependingon
severalvariables,includingavailabilityandaccesstosatellitesignals,itmaytakeupto30secondsor
moretodetermineandreportyourapproximatelocation.
Important:Always report your location to the 9-1-1 operator when placing an emergency
call.Somedesignatedemergencycalltakers,knownasPublicSafetyAnsweringPoints(PSAPs)
maynotbeequippedtoreceiveGPSlocationinformationfromyourphone.
