In Gateway operational mode, the DataBridge unit requires a corresponding DataBridge
Gateway and:
• Employs proprietary algorithms to simultaneously break down and transmit data
over multiple modems and to bond the data received over its multiple modems.

DataBridge Gateway
When working with the Gateway operational mode, the unit will connect to a Cloud-based
or On-Premise DataBridge Gateway server, which receives various streams of data from the
DataBridge unit through its Internet network connections. The DataBridge Gateway server
runs multiple remote connection instances. Each remote connection instance recombines
the streams received from a specific DataBridge unit into a discrete data stream. The
DataBridge on-premise server can serve up to 5 DataBridge units simultaneously.
DataBridge Mode
NOTE
Please note that DataBridge mode will only be available on a specific
LU600 unit that has the DataBridge service enabled by LiveU Support.
The LU600 unit should be switched from Video mode to DataBridge mode in order to
operate as a DataBridge. The LU600 will continue to operate in DataBridge mode until it is
switched back to Video mode. Switching modes between Video and DataBridge does not
require a unit reboot.
