DS3 and DS1 Services

When equipped with OC-1 OLIUs, the DS3 uses all of the capacity of the line.
Hence, there is no capacity for DS1 service. See Figure 3-26 and Figure 3-27.
DS3 Interface (BBG4/BBG4B)

Protected DS3 access is available by using the BBG4(B) in the Function Unit slots
of Figure 3-28. DS3 access is through BNC connectors on the rear of the
FiberReach shelf.
