Procedures

Check that the S3 display shows “ZERO”.

When the S3 display shows “SPAN”, press

the key once.

Then, check that S3 display changes to

“ZERO”.

Adjust the display to “0” with the right keys by

the following procedures.

Adjust so that the display shows the nearest

zero with coarse adjustment keys.

Adjust the display to zero with fine adjustment

key. In this case, more precise adjustment can

be made if adjustment to 1/10 digit is made on

the S2 display.

: Zero coarse adjustment,

display decreasing key.

By pressing the key continuously,

increment/decrement can be provided

continuously.

: Zero coarse adjustment,

display increasing key.

: Zero fine adjustment,

display increasing key

: Zero fine adjustment

display decreasing key.

Set the instrument with the condition of optional

constant load applied

Change the S3 display to 「SPAN」 by pressing

key.
