6.4.3 Transducer Configuration
The DM2020 can handle various types of feedback transducers to close the control loops.
Resolver (standard)
Encoder Incremental TTL
Encoder, Stegmann Sinusoidal Absolute Single/Multi-Turn with Hiperface communication
Encoder, Heidenhain Sinusoidal Absolute Single/Multi-Turn with ENDAT communication
BISSAbsolute Encoder
Sensorless mode
To configure it, follow the instructions in the Dx2020 GUI help on-line, select Dx2020 GUI
> Configuration views > Feedback.
It is necessary for some encoders to insert the Theta angle. If this is not known, perform the
STOActivation procedure
