The send data processing time is calculated using the task period of the task in which to perform
I/O refreshing and to which the tag set is assigned in the CPU Unit that sends data. The calculation
procedures is as follows.
Primary periodic task:
Maximum send data processing time = (the greater of the task period of the primary periodic task
and the RPI of the tag set) + RPI of the tag set
Priority-16 periodic task
Maximum send data processing time = (the greater of the task period of the priority-16 periodic
task and the RPI of the tag set) × 2 + RPI of the tag set

Network Transmission Delay Time
The transmission delay on an Ethernet line is 50 μs or less. This delay time can be ignored.

This is the time required to transfer data that is received on the EtherNet/IP port on the NX-series
EtherNet/IP Unit to a variable in the CPU Unit.

Output ON Response Time
This is the delay time from when an output command is issued by the Controller until the output is
executed on the external output device.
Output ON response time = Output device delay time + task period of the CPU Unit
Additional Information
The I/O response time may be longer due to noise, or other causes.
