LLDP
LLDP (Link Layer Discovery Protocol) is a protocol used to exchange information with other network
devices that are connected to a physically communicable range. The
NX-series EtherNet/IP Unit ob-
tains information of other network devices using the SNMP function. The information to be exchanged
includes chassis types and system names of the both. Refer to Lldp Group
on page 11-19 for details
on the information to be exchanged.
