accessores may cause cross-contamnaton
2 To prevent leaks, avod damagng any breathng system
components when dsassemblng and reassemblng
Ensure the correct nstallaton of the system, especally
component seals
3. Disconnect the electrical supply before cleaning.
4. Do not allow liquids to run into enclosed areas or on to
electronic components. Serious damage may result.
5 Wear gloves and safety glasses The O sensor contans
a small quantty of electrolyte, classfed as a harmful

8 Do not apply excessve pressure to the dsplay screen
9 Pre-use checks must be performed before patent use
after cleanng and dsnfecton
leanng and dsnfecton - Ventlator nternal components
1 The patent block assembly must be removed from the
control unt before sterlsaton
These operatons must be carred out by sutably traned
techncans only
After cleanng and sterlsaton, the patent block
assembly must be reftted to the orgnal control unt
2 For ventlator components whch requre sterlsaton,
peak sterlsaton temperatures should not exceed 134
o
(275
o
F) to prevent possble damage
3 are must be taken not to let any lqud run nto the

Do not autoclave the heater pad
3 Autoclavng the absorber canster
a) Dscard the absorbent and dran the condensate from
the canster, then reft the canster to the absorber

prevent possble damage Maxmum temperatures for
ndvdual components are lsted n ths manual
4 If the absorber has to be lfted or carred by hand, always
support the weght of the unt under the base
Do not lft the absorber by grppng any of the components
attached to the top of the absorber - the manometer,
adustable pressure lmtng (APL) valve, breathng crcut
