2.3 Adjusting the sensor head angle
NOTE The sensor head (i.e. the sensor head alignment tool) must be perpendicular to the
rotating unit, otherwise the angle of the quick connector mechanism must be adjusted.
Check the position of the sensor head by using the spirit level as shown in Fig. 16 below.

In case the sensor head is attached to the rotating unit, remove the sensor head from the
quick connector mechanism (refer to section 6.2 “Sensor head with quick connector mecha-
nism” on page E-90), or remove the fixed sensor head from its connector (refer to section 6.1
“Attaching and removing the fixed sensor head” on page E-86).
Remove the connector covers. Refer to section 6.1 “Attaching and removing the fixed sensor
head” on page E-86 or to section 6.2 “Sensor head with quick connector mechanism” on page
E-90.
Attach the sensor head alignment tool to the connector.
Loosen the two screws located on the attachment mechanism with the 3mm Allen key. Adjust
the head support angle with the two screws (use 3mm Allen key) located on the side of the
