3 REPLACING THE COLUMN MOTOR
3.1 Replacing the motor
WARNING
Care must be taken when replacing the column motor. Removing
par ts of the lifting assembly may enable the column to fall causing
a dangerous situation and/or damage to the equipment. The down-
ward movement of the telescopic column must be eliminated
before detaching the parts.
WARNING
The X-ray unit contains live mains voltage parts. Always unplug
the unit from mains outlet before attempting to service the Input
module .
CAUTION At least two persons are needed when replacing the column motor.
Never try to replace the motor on your own.
