4.6 Beam check
Select Beam check (i470) on the Special functions display. The display shown below
appears. The X-ray beam position on the sensor head can be checked in this mode. The
beam check procedures are described in sections 2.8 “Beam check” on page E-38 and 1.14
“Beam check” on page H-37.

4.7 Network settings
Select Network Settings (i480) on the Special functions display. The display shown below
appears. It is possible to communicate with the X-ray unit through a Ethernet link. To enable
the communication it is necessary to configure the link settings to the X-ray unit and to the PC
which is connected directly or remotely to the unit.
The detailed Ethernet link setup procedure is described in the Installation manual, publication
number 688271.
