8. Torque wheel hub nut to specification and install a
NEW cotter pin. Tighten nut slightly if necessary to
align cotter pin holes.
Wheel Hub Castle Nut:
80 ft-lbs (108 Nm)
9. Install wheel and (4) wheel nuts. Torque wheel nuts
to specification.
Wheel Nuts:
Steel Wheels: 27 ft-lbs (37 Nm)
Aluminum Wheels: 30 ft-lbs + 90° (1/4 turn)
REAR GEARCASE
Gearcase Removal
1. Drain the fluid from the rear gearcase and remove
the rear drive shafts from each side of the rear
gearcase.
See “REAR DRIVE SHAFT”, page 7.35
2. Remove the exhaust pipe and exhaust silencer to
allow for gearcase removal.
3. RZR S Only: Remove the upper A-arm bolts, lower
rear A-arm bolts, and suspension plate. NOTE: If
accessory rear rack cab frame is installed,
remove the (4) bolts retaining it to the rear
suspension plate (see photo).
