To Turn the Ventilator Off
1) Disconnect the ventilator from the patient.
2) Push and hold the On / Standby button for 3 seconds. The ventilator ceases operating, the
audible alarm sounds continuously and the Vent Inop LED is lit.
3) Stop the audible alarm from sounding by pushing the Silence / Reset button.
• Verify a confirming audible chirp

4) The ventilator continues to charge the internal battery as long as it is connected to an external
power source.
NOTE
The VENT INOP LED will remain lit for a minimum of 5 minutes and does not affect battery life.
