Vent Inop Alarm Test
Use the Vent Inop Alarm Test to verify that the Inop Alarm is working correctly.
To run the Vent Inop Alarm Test:
1) To run the Vent Inop Alarm Test, the ventilator must be on (running) for at least 60 seconds and
the Ventilator Checkout menu must be enabled.
• When the Ventilator Checkout menu is enabled, VENT CHECK, ALARM, DISPLAY,
CONTROL, LEAK, or EXIT is displayed in the ventilator display area.
2) Turn the ventilator off by pressing and holding the On/Standby button for a minimum of 3
seconds. DO
NOT push the Silence/Reset button.
3) Observe the ventilator for 15 seconds.
• Listen for the alarm tone
• Watch the Vent Inop LED
