2.3.11 Idle up
This function is used to improve engine starting performance by raising the idling speed
when starting the engine of a GP car/boat. It is also
effective when you want to prevent braking when the
power is turned off during running because of your gear
ratio setting and choice of the motor when operating an
electronic car. However, considering safety, and to
prevent the motor from rotating instantly when the
power is turned on, confirm that the ESC is in the
neutral position and the set is in the operation mode
before setting the idle up function switch to ON.
The throttle neutral position is offset to the forward
side or brake side. There is no linkage locking, etc.
Because there is no change near when the neutral position is offset by this function.
Setting steps: turn on the RC8X, into home page, click the button at the left bottom of
RC8X into System menu, click into Basic menu, click the blue select box named Idle up can
into the menu to turn on of turn off the idle up function, the trim switch, the function switch, and
the idle up rate. Click “-“ can decrease the value, and click “+” can increase the value.
Reset: click Reset will make the value back to the default number.
Back: click the button or short press the power button to return to the previous menu.
Status: to turn on or turn off the Idle up function.
