Used to increase the frequency converter’s output voltage and compen‐
sate the stator voltage decrease, to generate sufficient torque and im‐
prove the low-frequency torque characteristics of V/F control.
Large increase may cause high current leading to motor over heat and
may result in motor damage or frequency converter protection.
Linear and square V/F curve manual torque increase are shown in figures be‐
low.
