Sheets Cannot Be Stapled Properly (Finisher SR5070 / Booklet Finisher
SR5080)
Cause:
When the sheets are fed to the staple unit inside the finisher, they may be overlaid, resulting in a
misalignment of 5 mm (0.2 inches) relative to each other after stapling.
When coated or other paper producing higher paper-to-paper friction is used, the paper edges are not
aligned properly, resulting in misaligned stapling.
This may occur if:
Coated or other paper producing higher paper-to-paper friction is used.
Thin or other limp paper is used.
Solution:
Reduce the number of sheets to be stapled.
