If the object holder has gotten smaller due to cleaning with disinfectants, replace it. If the specimen holder lock spring has broken, replace it. In an emergency: 1. Remove the blade holder temporarily. 2. Confirm the handwheel is locked. 3. Raise the specimen head locking lever to place and lock the object holder on the specimen holder. 4. Tighten the nut located at the bottom of the specimen holder using the nut driver provided. 5. Dry the blade holder if it has water droplets on its surfaces before putting it back. 6. Remove the object holder from the specimen holder in the reverse order to locking it.
