Configurable functions
Vertical operation
In vertical operation (for access protection and hazardous point protection) according to
C
LC/TS 61496<3 you must always configure the protective fields used with the contour as
reference function. In addition the total response time of the S3000 is not allowed to
exceed 90 ms.
Use lateral, vertical boundaries of the opening (e.g. door frame) and the floor as reference.
If in this case the position of the S3000 is changed in one or more planes, the distance to
the reference changes and the S3000 switches its OSSDs to the OFF state.
