This block is intended for the processing of measured values. As for the COMPARE block, it is allowed
that the MaxValSel block is configured at all task levels.
You have to consider that the CFC circuit will only be triggered by the measured values for
processing if the block is located at the task level MW_BEARB. At the other task levels, processing
must be triggered by different events.
If values have not been recorded yet, they will not be considered in the evaluation of the logic.
If all values are interpreted as being identical, no maximum values are returned.
In the following figure, the measured value VAL2 is assumed to be constant, while the measured
value VAL1 varies. The measured value output as maximum value by the CFC block is displayed with
a wide solid line.
Figure 4-15 Example: result of a MaxVal comparison of two input values
Table 4-3 With the CFC block MinValSel, you can determine the smallest value from 5 input values
taking into account the hysteresis value 1 (HYSVAL1) and issue it via MINVAL. For the
smallest input value, the respective output Y1 to Y5 is set to "1" taking into account the
hysteresis value 2 (HYSVAL2).
Name Type Description Default function
Input HYSVAL1 REAL Hysteresis for determining MINVAL 0.0
HYSVAL2 REAL Hysteresis for determining Y1 to Y5 0.0
VAL1 REAL Operand 1 0.0
VAL2 REAL Operand 2 0.0
VAL3 REAL Operand 3 0.0
VAL4 REAL Operand 4 0.0
VAL5 REAL Operand 5 0.0
Output MINVAL REAL Min value from {VAL1,..,VAL5} 0
Y1 BOOL VAL1 = MINVAL +/- HYSVAL2 0
Y2 BOOL VAL2 = MINVAL +/- HYSVAL2 0
Y3 BOOL VAL3 = MINVAL +/- HYSVAL2 0
Y4 BOOL VAL4 = MINVAL +/- HYSVAL2 0
Y5 BOOL VAL5 = MINVAL +/- HYSVAL2 0
