84 Configuring VLAN Tagging
To configure the management VLAN options, do the following:
1. Navigate to Management» Remote Management» Management VLAN. The Management VLAN screen
appears.

2. Configure the following parameter(s) as required:
Parameter Description
VLAN ID [1-4094] Synopsis: { A number in the range of 1 to 4094 }
Default: 0
Displays an identifier for the management VLAN.
802.1p bits [0-7] Synopsis: { A number in the range of 0 to 7 }
Default: 6
Sets the 802.1p priority value for the management VLAN.
Management VLAN on LAN Port Synopsis: { Enable, Disable }
Enables/Disables the management VLAN on the LAN port.
3. Click Apply.

Configuring VLAN Tagging
VLAN tagging options include the VLAN ID number and the 802.1p priority value. The SS has the ability to tag or
untag packets with a VLAN ID where there is no switch behind the device to carry out this function. This is only
viable when there is one VLAN. If there is more than one VLAN, add a switch behind the device to tag or untag
packets.
To configure VLAN tagging, do the following:
1. Navigate to Network» Ethernet Settings. The VLAN Tagging screen appears.
